Studio Waterdine is a UK-based independent game studio creating atmospheric narrative games shaped by folklore, memory, place, and the uncanny.
We make games in Japanese and English, with thoughtful localisation that preserves cultural context, tone, and atmosphere.
Our releases include 逆さ事 / Reversed Rites, a horror game inspired by Japanese funerary customs performed in reverse; 振り返るな / Don’t Look Back, a scroll-driven night walk where every footstep brings something closer; and 霧鐘 / Fog Bell, an audio-horror story set in a solitary lighthouse surrounded by mist.
We also created ASTERISM // SIGNAL, a storybook sci-fi action game about restoring lost constellations alongside NOMA and MIRA-7.
We tend to make short games about ordinary places where something feels slightly wrong. Some are frightening, some are mild, but we hope they stay with you for a while.
